Wyoming Reception

Since we got married and had a reception in Logan, we decided to do one in Powell as well.  We had the second reception three weeks after the wedding on December 3rd so we could have time to do our honeymoon and Thanksgiving.  We drove up for the weekend and it was snowing pretty bad on our way.  It took us 10 or 11 hours to get there instead of 7.  It was rough. But we made it safe and sound.  Lyndi and Bob rode with us and Jabin's parents and youngest siblings came up on Saturday.  We spent Saturday morning and afternoon decorating the church.  We took a break to enjoy some El Tapatio (yum!).  We brought Gelato from The Beehive Grill up from Logan to serve at the reception.  It was so fun to see more family and friends from Powell.

I surprised Jabin with this "Groom's cake".

For those that don't know the military alphabet used by pilots 'N' is November so I had the tail number of the plane be N (November) 12 11 as in our wedding date 11-12-11.

This reception was so fun and loved getting to see more family and friends from Powell.  I was so happy that Jabin's family was able to make the long boring trek up to Wyoming to celebrate again with us.
